Washed up,
Left behind, No need for a cup, The bottle works fine, Drowning my sorrow, I have nowhere to go, There is no tomorrow, I'll be a no-show, I'll cast a message to the sea, The story I never told, My family will all agree, To the Devil my soul was sold.

Be indecisive,
Sit back and contemplate life, Stuck at home anyway. Wander off the path,
Explore the regions beyond, Find yourself within. On the surface,
I'm tranquil Like calm seas, A whisper of wind Along my shores Beneath the surface, I'm raging Like a hurricane, Gale after gale Churns my storm. Cast no stone
But in the water, See the ripples Across the surface, This is life. Outside my front door is a flower in bloom,
beyond bloom really, the other side of middle age, past prime, slightly withered, soon to be replaced by youth, a new bloom, a bright and vibrant bloom. Experience is a teacher of life
providing answers to the mistakes, solutions to songs breaking hearts, truths shattering darkness in doubts beating confidence to shamefulness when there’s failure to grasp subject matter through closed eyes and a closed mind. Experience is a good teacher tapping a desk to wake you from a heavy sleep, a burden, Encouraging focus, eyes forward, Preparing for the next test. Touch what needs healing.
Hold what has meaning. Listen to a cry for help. Speak only of experience. Follow the trail of poverty. Lead on a path to nourishment. Read to gain knowledge. Write to give inspiration. Live on the edge of existence. Love to fuel an eternal flame. Before the simple life,
There’s a job hunt And a mate search, Entry level wages, Relationship development, Career choices, Wedding planning, Children, A mortgage And school selection, Coaching, A seven-year itch, And marriage counseling, College searches, Aging parents, And retirement planning. A Florida condo, Blue skies, White sand, Senior yoga, Memoir writing, And peaceful reflection. Limpid life. An ocean wave, with no constant rhythm, is a fluid representation of life.
